The perfect wedding song will be created when you first decide what existing song is your favorite; the one you would most like us to model your song after. Is your favorite love song by Coldplay, Shania Twain, Sting, or Mariah Carey? Or someone else you really love?

Love swansAfter you have chosen a song, then the process of creating an outstanding, unique, and creative love song begins with input from you, the bride and groom to be. Your one-on-one, creative, fun, and heart warming session with Rebeca, over the phone or in person for those in the San Diego area, will evoke all the thoughts, feelings and story-line we need to write your song lyrics. Our composers will take your input and craft it into beautiful, singable lyrics that do the best possible job of expressing your feelings for each other while still preserving musical phrasing and structure.

Below you can find the lyrics to two different Wedding Song 4 U songs, “You Are My Destiny” and “Faithfully.” The Bride & Groom in each case have graciously consented to allow you to peek at the thoughts and feelings they sent in to us to create their song.  You Are My Destiny

I did what I had to do

To get ready to receive your love

Humbled two times over by the world

You are the one I’ve been dreaming of

I was a wild one, and you tamed me

You’re my angel; you gave your name to me

You are the one I’ve waited for

You are the truth when I open love’s door

You mean the world to me; you are my destiny

I’m yours forever body, mind and soul

You are the one who makes me feel whole

You mean the world to me; you are my destiny

Together for the very first time

We are floating in this happiness dance

Down on your knees at the Eiffel Tower

You complete this storybook romance

Dreams come true when the east meets the west
You're my beauty; and now my life's been blessed

You are the one I’ve waited for

You are the truth when I open love’s door

You mean the world to me; you are my destiny

I’m yours forever body, mind and soul

You are the one who makes me feel whole

You mean the world to me; you are my destiny

You are my destiny, you’re my destiny

Faithfully

I used to think the kind of love we share

Was for everybody else

Not for me, no, not for me

Still I said no to every single man

While the hope within my heart waited for you...

Faithfully, a dream I spoke out loud

Faithfully, beyond the doubting crowd

Faithfully, not knowing where you were

But that hardly even matters now

I waited for you, faithfully

I always felt no matter how it seemed

You’d be waiting here for me

All my life, oh, all my life

So I searched on not knowing who I'd find
While the hope within my heart waited for you...

Faithfully, a dream I spoke out loud

Faithfully, beyond the doubting crowd

Faithfully, not knowing where you were

But that hardly even matters now

I waited for you, faithfully.

Now you’re here, a gift from fate

I thank the hope that helped me wait...

Faithfully, a dream I spoke out loud

Faithfully, beyond the doubting crowd

Faithfully, not knowing where you were

But that hardly even matters now

I waited for you, faithfully

Here is some interesting information about the song "You Are My Destiny." The Bride and Groom-to-be both love the song "Heaven," by Bryan Adams. Actually, the Bride really liked the cover of the song by an artist named Do. Our songs at Wedding Song 4 U don't just take the melody and chords of a famous song and put new words to that melody. So after the Bride and Groom confirmed that they absolutely loved the lyrics we had written, the writers sat down with those lyrics and went through a process of creating a song that Bryan Adams might have written, with his style of melody and chords, and that perfectly communicated those beautiful lyrics. The result is the song, "You Are My Destiny."

What A Wonderful Life

What a wonderful life with you in this world
What a wonderful life this is
Now we’re walking through life as we’re joining East with West
A blending of hers and his
What a wonderful life this is

What a wonderful life in this natural world

Where the answers are there to find

In the garden of life we find everything we need

A blending of heart and mind

Yes, the answers are there to find

Under a “Red Rock” rainbow

They promised eternal love

She’s his firecracker; he is her rock

Each the one they’ve been dreaming of

What a wonderful life in this world of our love

As the future is calling our name

As we walk on the beach like the night that we first met

Alive in this double flame

And the future is calling our name

As a man he completely accepts her

He stands when she walks in the room

They skindive together and they laugh a lot

And now they’re a bride and a groom

What a wonderful life with you in this world
What a wonderful life this is
Now we’re walking through life as we’re joining East with West
A blending of hers and his
What a wonderful life this is
What a wonderful life this is
What a wonderful life this is

For those couples who would like to share their song
with the world, we would love to list it among the songs displayed on our website. Let us know when you commission us to write your song that you would like us to list it.

The song "What A Wonderful Life" was an amazing gift from a mother and father of the bride to their daughter and her betrothed. It's the first time here at Wedding Song 4 U that we have composed a song without the bride's and/or groom's  participation. This is just another example of how wonderful expressions of the heart can be, and how easily the concept behind Wedding Song 4 U can be just as powerful when given as a gift. We look forward to many more of these situations.
The mother of the bride really liked the song "What A Wonderful World," most famously covered by Louis Armstrong, and we used that model to tell the bride's and groom's love story and had a fabulous time playing in the jazz idiom.
